Some fresh spare time audio-guy news stuff!
I’m ecstatic to announce that I’m doing a bit of work for London based ‘Infinite States Games’, writing music for a series of titles for iOS devices.
Infinite States Games is preposterously talented and video-game developer Charlie Scott-Skinner, who I’ve worked with previously at Razorback Developments. Now going it alone, work has already started on an HD remix of his popular 2D cutesy golf game ‘Extreme Golf’.
More news soon!
So, I’ve been doing some more music for games in my spare time…
A chum of mine, Fritz from Triple B Games, should be releasing his XBox 360 Indiegame ‘Zombiez 8 My Cookiez’ soon! Here’s a pre-release trailer
It’s a manic arena shooter / biscuit defence game. I made three tunes for it and some sound effects.
It’s really good and well worth a download, Triple B Games have quite a pedigree in making successful and polished xbox indie games, and their latest offering is as polished and playable as you’d expect from such a fantastic developer. Snap it up as soon as it’s out!
The final peice of Crackdown 2 DLC which I have been working on over the last few months was released a few weeks ago. It’s taken me a while to put it up on the ol’ portfolio page as I’ve been awfully busy!
Here’s a teaser trailer
It’s great, and at 560 MSP you’ll get a lot of mayhem for your magic space bucks.
Right! I’ve just heard that the first of the DLC packs for Crackdown 2 is now up on XBox Marketplace!
Say hello to the Toy Box pack, friends.
The above trailer was made by a lovely chap called Dustin. If you look closely, that’s me flying the Squad Chopper!

Microsoft’s just announced the first DLC pack for Crackdown 2, introducing the “Keys to the City” mode from the first game.
The “Toy Box” pack will include free and premium stuff for all, with the premium pack costing 560 MS points.
The free stuff will have Keys to the City, as well as a Level 6 reward and a new gameplay mode called “Vehicle Tag”.
For 560 MS points, you can get:

It seems Ruffian are just awaiting the release date for the content, although they did confirm the “test guys are loving it,” before adding, “We’re close…”

Speaking toMTV Multiplayer, producer James Cope revealed two (tentatively titled) packs already planned for release: “The Toy Box” and “Deluge.” According to Cope, The Toy Box will be available first and features “new gadgets and vehicles,” as well as opening up Pacific City in the same way that the first game’s “Keys to the City” mode did.
Next will be the Deluge pack, which will contain “new game modes to expand the play” — Cope says the team at Ruffian is aiming for “a completely new way to play the game you’ve already got.”
I’ve just added some audio work I’ve done for Indie game ‘Squid Yes Not So Octopus: Championship Edition’ to the portfolio page, and some video for Time Gentlemen, Please.
Nothing like keeping something fresh, is there? Apart from Kimchee. That’s better when it’s rancid.
Anyway, this month I have added:
Enjoy, friends!
